The observation of corrosion on interior tube side of depropaniser Reboiler, stabilizer Reboiler, low pressure, high pressure steam condenser, air cooler, steam drum and pipe of boiler during gas refinery plant shut down, leads to have a survey of steam loop condition. Borescopic inspection images in boiler, depropaniser Reboiler and air cooler tube were the same, so it can be concluded that the corrosion mechanism probably is the same. Since observed pitting on tubes reveals sign of oxygen corrosion, the oxygen concentration of generated steam and condensate steam were investigated. Obtained results provided evidences for exceeded levels of oxygen at steam loop. During the survey, boiler feed water chemistry was also checked in order to evaluate its potentiality to assure reliable function of the boiler.
