NACE Institute Exam Fee - CP2 Technician Theory Practice Exam

The Cathodic Protection Technician (CP 2) Theory Practice Exam is designed to assess whether a candidate has the requisite knowledge and skills that a minimally qualified Cathodic Protection Technician must possess. The exam consists of 45 questions covering intermediate and basic areas of the Cathodic Protection Body of Knowledge (BOK). A candidate should have intermediate-level knowledge of corrosion theory, CP concepts, types of CP systems, and advanced field measurement techniques.

The CP 2 Technician Theory Practice Exam is administered through Examity, an online remote proctoring service.  Once you have purchased the exam, please allow 5-7 business days to receive your authorization for the exam.  Once you are authorized, you will receive an email with login and scheduling instructions into the online portal.  Once registered in the system you will be able to take the exam at your convenience.
